RETAIL SALES AND MARKETING

This course is designed to prepare students for employment in the retail industry. Based on industry standards, students will demonstrate skills on cash handling, customer relations, inventory control, stocking, risk management, and loss prevention. Students will receive hands-on training through managing and operating the Norte Vista Student Store

About the Student Store:

The Norte Vista Student Store offers snacks for students during lunch.

Students in the class attain hand-on experience in the following: pricing, cashier, stocking, balancing registers, and offering customer service.

The Following positions are available: Cashier, Merchandise Stocker, Door Security and Manager.

ADVANCED RETAIL SALES AND MARKETING

This course is designed to prepare students for employment in the retail industry. Based on industry standards, students will demonstrate skills on cash handling, customer relations, inventory control, stocking, risk management, and loss prevention. Students will receive hands-on training in a work environment, offered by business partners.
